While not exactly considered the fourth quarter of the year just yet, it is the signal of the end of summer and a transition into the seasons that are jam-packed with holidays that are celebrated universally. Macy’s – 2019 – ‘All Brand New’
Macy’s has always emphasized the importance of dressing in-style for school, making sure you look “All Brand New” this catchy commercial shows students partying through the halls, in the latest styles from head to toe. Complete with a full marching band, confetti, and synchronized dancing to a tune that is sure to be stuck in your head all day, the commercial drives home the idea of back-to-school as a party! Reeling in over 500,000 views in one-year on Youtube, “All Brand New” is sure to get your students excited for back-to-school.
Old Navy – 2014 – #BeUnlimited
On her first day back to school, a student encounters her inner nemesis, the Womp Womp. This commercial takes you on a compelling, relatable story of a student’s anxiety and wantingness to excel when going back to school. Old Navy messages that as long as you ‘dress smart’ you’ll succeed. The musical-like commercial boasts an original song that takes ‘catchy’ to the next level. Racking in over 6.5 million views on YouTube, #BeUnlimited inspires students to choose Old Navy for all the smart and savvy back-to-school styles.
