We can all agree that we don’t love the idea of having to listen to or watch a commercial or radio ad. However, we also can’t deny there are some jingles so catchy, they’re hard not to replay over and over in your head for the following week. From food to insurance to diapers? Yes! These big businesses have made an even bigger name for themselves with these jingles and slogans you’ve probably grown up with! Here are some of the catchiest jingles of all time.

Folgers Coffee

Folgers Coffee ad

The best word to describe Folgers Coffee? Nostalgic. Developed in 1984, “The best part of waking up Folgers in your cup!” has been around longer than some of us have even been drinking coffee! Yet, the jingle resonates with all coffee lovers alike! Regardless of the commercial’s storyline or air date, the music and lines have always stayed the same. And our love for this familiar tune will remain as well.

Kit Kat Bar

We’d all love to be broken off a piece of that Kit Kat bar. Created in an elevator, writers Ken Shuldman and Michael A. Levine figured, “Gimme a break, gimme a break, break me off a piece of that Kit Kat Bar!” would be a second option for a jingle. It was considered the ‘throw-away’ song for producers to say, “no” to. Fortunately, producers needed more than one option to listen to, and sure enough, option number two proved to be the winner! Like Folgers, regardless of the characters, story, or year produced, the jingled has remained the same! And we don’t foresee it changing any time soon.

State Farm

Who wouldn’t want to have their friend take on the role of their insurance agent? Well, the tagline “like a good neighbor” made it feel that way! Created in 1971, Barry Manilow, who has created several jingles throughout his career, struck gold with the insurance company’s catchy jingle and slogan. Now paired with the familiar Jake from State Farm in his khaki pants, this iconic tune and phrase aren’t going anywhere!

Huggies Diapers

This jingle plays so frequently that your potty-training toddler may ever mutter the words his/herself. Huggies’ “I’m a big kid now,” has transcended time and hasn’t lost its zest on the airways just yet! The melody and slogan have played large roles in the households of families who have babies that are transitioning into toddlers for numerous years! And for numerous years more, with fresh takes (including the most recent rap version) we anticipate this Huggies jingle isn’t going anywhere.
